Child photography in Münster for the Münsterland and NRW region

Hi, I'm Thorben, your photographer from Münster for families and children. In the next few days, I will set up a small photo studio in the daycare center or take photos during free play in the daycare center garden.

There I offer the children a photo shoot supported by educators or parents. The photos are guaranteed to be beautiful, but the children should also enjoy the experience. And it should be a special occasion for everyone.

The photo shoot is free of charge. The photo day is financed by the sale of the photos. Of course, you can also reject the pictures. But the photos will surely convince you as a parent of their quality.

However, registration is important. In accordance with the data protection of the DSGVO, I am only allowed to photograph registered children. Therefore, I ask you to register your child here for the photo day, even if you do not plan to purchase photos for the first time. I am sure that one or the other photo will convince you. - You can take your chances on that, can't you? ;-)

What happens after registration?

After registration, you will receive an e-mail from me with tips on clothing for the photo day. By registering, you allow me to take photos of your child. Children who have not registered will not be photographed.

After uploading the photos, you will receive an email from me directly.

How do you, as the photographer, know which child is allowed to be photographed?

A code is created for each child. Together with the teachers, I call the children up one by one and assign the codes to the photos. Children who are not registered will not be photographed.

Will my child be alone with the photographer?

I am not a childcare professional and I am a stranger to the children. The children remain in their familiar environment with a small studio set-up. It's exciting, no question about it. The children will be photographed together with their group and a teacher or several other children from the group will be present and are invited to watch. There is usually always something going on in the daycare garden and watching is always allowed.

For good and engaging photos, it is important that everyone feels comfortable. No child likes to have their picture taken when “everything is stupid”. I will do my best to keep the kids happy, but nothing will be forced. On the last photo day, I therefore plan to allow a little more time for a catch-up with a parent; you can do this too, but you will be informed beforehand if something has not worked out.

Now you can view the great photos in the online store and order prints directly. You can also buy the photos as downloads. The prices per picture are higher than for a print at the drugstore because the production costs are included. I therefore recommend that you choose one of the package offers, for example, to also receive digital copies.

Photo days in times of the coronavirus pandemic?

I have prepared myself and obtained the relevant certification. This is about contactless photography. I work in compliance with the official security concept. But also for photographic reasons, I have to keep a lot of distance for good photos and will therefore stay at a distance from your child. After a registered children's group has been photographed, the set-up and props, for example, will be disinfected and thus be prepared for the next group.

Can I share the digital photos?

Yes, but please note that you are not allowed to use the photos commercially. This must be agreed separately. Please share the content sparingly on social media. Have fun sharing the photos digitally with grandparents, uncles, aunts and friends!

Group photos may not be shared.

As the photographer, can you use the photos of my children, my children?

No, you can't do that without your specific and written consent. I don't automatically get that just by registering for Photo Day.

Of course, I would like to use the photos for my own advertising. But I will always contact you personally beforehand, ask you for permission and obtain it separately from you.
